On January 12, 2010 a devastating earthquake rocked the nation of Haiti. According to the Haitian government as many as 300,000 people were killed. Is there anything we, at SCC, can do to help in the wake of this terrible disaster? Of course there is!
A “Bands for Haitian Aid,” concert is currently in the works. Not all the details have been determined, but we do know it will take place on campus in early April. People attending the concert will purchase a ticket with all proceeds going to the Haiti relief effort. If you are interested in helping out with the concert e-mail me at joey_belsher@msn.com.
